I am, if nothing else, a learner.

I'm a software engineer with over a decade of experience in both startups and large corporate organizations. I love thinking in terms of systems and tradeoffs. My work has been across the stack, from frontend web and mobile applications to backend infrastructure and analytics.

I'm a sports fanatic, particularly St. Louis sports, and I spend a lot of free time reading about baseball and hockey stats and analytics. Most recently I've also started following cricket, which I'd love to get a chance to play someday.

In 2025 I discovered a love for solving and constructing crossword puzzles. They intersect with many of my other interests, namely language and trivia, and force me to keep learning. While I haven't published any puzzles yet, there are more than a few partial ones accruing on my hard drive!
